It replaced the movie channel Rishtey Cineplex. Earlier, the channel broadcast both Bollywood and South Indian movies dubbed in Hindi. After the launch of Colors Cineplex Bollywood on 1 April 2021, the channel broadcast only South Indian Hindi-dubbed movies while the latter is a dedicated Bollywood movies channel. [8]

The channel had a reach of 140 million on the day of launch. [7] Discovery announced plans to revamp the channel with dubbed content from Scripps after low ratings. [2] However, things did not work out as planned and on 13 January 2020, the channel was rebranded again to Investigation Discovery.
