Boise Airport (IATA: BOI, ICAO: KBOI, FAA LID: BOI) (Boise Air Terminal or Gowen Field) [2] [4] is a joint civil-military airport in the western United States in Idaho, three miles (5 km) south of downtown Boise in Ada County. [2] The airport is operated by the city of Boise Department of Aviation, overseen by an airport commission. [5]
It is the second-busiest airport in Idaho after Boise Airport. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a primary commercial service facility. Federal Aviation Administration records say the airport had 148,584 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 138,957 in 2009 and 144,365 in 2010.
Pocatello Regional Airport covers an area of 3,374 acres (5.3 sq mi; 13.7 km 2) at an elevation of 4,452 feet (1,357 m) above sea level.It has two runways with asphalt surfaces: 3/21 is 9,059 by 150 feet (2,761 by 46 m) and 17/35 is 7,150 by 100 feet (2,179 by 30 m).
