A driver fleeing Wauwatosa police crashed into another car, killing a 32-year-old driver, and escaped the scene on foot Thursday.
The Wauwatosa Police Department said in a statement the single vehicle crash took place Sunday shortly after 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 45 and West Capitol Drive.
The incident started when the Wauwatosa Fire Department responded at 8:38 p.m. that day to Pinelawn Memorial Park, 10700 W. Capitol Drive, for a 61-year-old male who was having a medical issue.
