Texoma FC is an American professional soccer team based in Sherman, Texas. First announced in 2023, the team plans to play in USL League One beginning in 2025 and USL W League in 2026 at Historic Bearcat Stadium.

Sherman is a city in and the county seat of Grayson County, Texas, United States. [5] The city's population in 2020 was 43,645. [6] It is one of the two principal cities in the Sherman–Denison metropolitan statistical area, and is the largest city in the Texoma region of North Texas and southern Oklahoma.
Sherman High School and neighboring Denison High School have had a long-standing football rivalry dating back to 1901. Each year, the schools play for "The Battle of the Ax" in which an engraved axe is awarded to the winner. This is the longest continuous rivalry among all high schools in the state of Texas. [7]
