100 Miles & Running is the third official mixtape by Washington, D.C. rapper Wale. It was released on July 11, 2007. The mixtape was mixed by Nick Catchdubs and featured remixes of songs by Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen and Justice. The mixtape also includes appearances from Daniel Merriweather, Mark Ronson and Tabi Bonney.
Whereas the EP's track "Sa Prize, Pt. 2" is a sequel to "Fuck tha Police"—the most controversial track on N.W.A's official debut album, Straight Outta Compton [a] —"100 Miles and Runnin' ", rather, became N.W.A's first single to see national radio play, and its music video see national television airtime.
Wale released his third mixtape, 100 Miles & Running, on July 11, as a free download on his Myspace page. This mixtape includes features from Mark Ronson, Daniel Merriweather, Amy Winehouse, and Lily Allen. It was released on the same day as his performance at the Highline Ballroom, in Manhattan.
In November 1990, a music video directed by Eric Meza was aired and released. [2] In the video the intro begins with N.W.A members being arrested by the police and exactly when the song begins they flee and appear on several scenes including, jumping onto the roof of a moving car, fleeing to back of a van and others.
In 2007, Wale was discovered by Mark Ronson and signed with his record label Allido Records, [1] who released his third mixtape, 100 Miles & Running in July of that year. In 2008, Allido and Wale entered a joint venture contract with Interscope Records, [1] which released his fourth mixtape, The Mixtape About Nothing, which is Seinfeld-themed. [2]

In 2002, the CD was re-released in two formats. Both had the EP 100 Miles and Runnin' appended to the end of the original track listing, but one was available with a DVD copy of Niggaz4Life: The Only Home Video. In comparison to its predecessor, the album was also heavier on misogyny, for which it became notorious.
