Lower Galliagh is a buffer between Upper Galliagh and the outer urban edge of Derry and the townland of Shantallow. The boundary of lower Galliagh is the burn which runs behind the White Chapel at Galliagh estate. The townland has been zoned for large scale housing and commercial development in the Derry Area Plan 2011.
The main church is St. Joseph's Church in Mountmellick. Building of this church started in 1864, to be completed in 1878. In 1912, a bell-tower was added. The church was originally a rectangle until an extension in 1965 changed it in a cruciform shape. [4] The second church in the parish is the St. Mary's Church in Clonaghadoo.
It was rededicated the following year by Bishop Michael Joseph Begley, and in 1979 was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. [3] A small group of volunteers led by Carl Heil has looked after the property since 1993. In 2001, a statue of Saint Joseph that had stood outside St. Joseph's Hospital in Asheville was moved to the site.

St. Joseph Pro-Cathedral is a Catholic parish located on the east side of Camden, New Jersey, United States. It serves as the pro-cathedral of the Diocese of Camden. It is one of two parishes in the city of Camden to be named St. Joseph. The other one is St. Joseph Polish Catholic Church, which was established in 1891. [1]
The church was dedicated in 1883. The building is also known for its stained-glass windows, organ, art, and size. The church also had its own school, St. Joseph's School. The school was later merged, along with other schools, to the existing Saint James School, which is the only Catholic School under the Good Shepherd Parish. [4]
