Parkway East Hospital is a 119-bed private healthcare facility located at the junction of Joo Chiat Place and Telok Kurau Road in the East of Singapore. [1] It was formerly known as East Shore Hospital or East Shore Medical Centre, The American Hospital of Singapore, and Saint Mark's Hospital.
In 2005, the centenary of the medical school and also that of the university, the medical school was renamed the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in honour of philanthropist and doctor Yong Loo Lin following a SG$100 million endowment from the Yong Loo Lin Trust. The Duke–NUS Medical School (Duke–NUS) is a graduate medical school in Singapore. The school was set up in April 2005 as the Duke–NUS Graduate Medical School , Singapore's second medical school, after the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine , and before the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine .
