NBA Street V3 is a 2005 basketball video game developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts under the EA Sports BIG label for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. It is the third installment in the NBA Street series. The game was later ported to the PlayStation Portable under the title NBA Street Showdown.
The game is the first in which Mario and Final Fantasy characters appear together as playable characters, and the second Mario game developed by Square Enix, the first one being Super Mario RPG. It is the first Mario basketball game ever to be released, although characters from the series have appeared in the GameCube version of NBA Street V3.
