"Nobody Is Ever Missing" is the tenth and final episode of the first season of the American satirical comedy-drama television series Succession. It was written by series showrunner Jesse Armstrong and directed by Mark Mylod, and originally aired on HBO on August 5, 2018.
In June 2016, HBO gave Succession a pilot order, to be written by Armstrong and directed by executive producer Adam McKay, and was filmed in late 2016. The series was greenlit for a season order in May 2017, which began filming in October 2017, and wrapped in early 2018. The season consists of ten episodes, and received critical acclaim.
"With Open Eyes" was written by Succession creator and showrunner Jesse Armstrong and directed by Mark Mylod in his sixteenth episode for the series. At 88 minutes, the episode is the longest of the series. Like the other season finales, its title is derived from John Berryman's poem "Dream Song 29".
