Onslow County Schools (OCS) is a PK-12 school district serving Onslow County, North Carolina. It is headquartered in Jacksonville . OCS serves the majority of Onslow County, except for Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River , which are served by Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools.
The 2006–2007 School Report Card for Richlands High School designates it as a School of Progress, with 60 to 80% of the students on grade level. The school also met all thirteen of its designated adequate yearly progress (AYP) goals. The average SAT score was 1025, eight points above the national average, with a 40% participation rate.

New Bridge Middle School has students coming from all of Onslow County's 19 elementary schools and, after the completion of 8th grade, students matriculating to all 7 high schools. From 1998 to 2010, the transportation department provided door-to-door bus service in a manner similar to all other school. This created a long bus rides for students.
