Oldham Athletic Association Football Club is a professional association football club in Oldham, Greater Manchester, England. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] [ 4 ] The team compete in the National League , the fifth level of the English football league system , as of the 2024–25 season .
The National League's first major TV coverage began in 2006 when Setanta SportsThe channel showed 79 matches each season. [17] It also showed the Conference League Cup. [9] Pitch renovation work at Boundary Park meant that the first five fixtures would all be played away from home, with only the sixth and final game able to be played at Boundary Park.

On 6 June 2023, fellow National League club Oldham Athletic announced Lundstram would be joining them permanently for an undisclosed fee. [24] After incurring a knee injury in a pre-season game, [25] he made his Oldham debut as a 61st minute substitute in a 1–1 draw at Wealdstone on 30 September 2023. [26]
It became an all-seater venue during the 1994–95 season – the season after Oldham Athletic's relegation from the top flight of English football. In the early days, the stadium could hold nearly 50,000 people. The highest crowd ever recorded at Boundary Park is 47,671, for an FA Cup tie between Oldham and Sheffield Wednesday in 1930.
