VTV2 is a Vietnamese television channel owned and operated by state-run VTV Network. Launched on 1 January 1990, VTV2 is dedicated to the broadcast of education and cultural programs. Since 1 May 2020, the channel has broadcast for 24/7.
Later, this channel merged with the Southeastern (HCMC) region center (VTV9) in 2016. The newly created VTV Cần Thơ in October 2022 (which is, replaced VTV6) is considered as the successor of VTV Cần Thơ 1. VTV Can Tho 2 Regional channel for the Khmer-speaking viewers in the Southwestern of Vietnam. The studio is located in Can Tho city.
