André Lauren Benjamin (born May 27, 1975), better known by his stage name André 3000, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and flautist.Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, he was one half of the hip hop duo Outkast along with rapper Big Boi, which the two formed in 1992.
