Reef is a brand of casual sandals, known as flip-flops (Australia: thongs, New Zealand: jandals), created by two Argentine brothers, Fernando and Santiago Aguerre. Chromis viridis (green chromis) is a species of damselfish. Individuals tend to be iridescent apple-green and light blue, and reach a maximal length of 10 cm. [ 1 ] It is sometimes called the "blue-green chromis" , but that may also refer to Chromis caerulea , the blue puller, a close relative that is sometimes considered conspecific .
Being a shallow water fish, the blue chromis is commonly found at depths of 3 to 5 m, but it can reach depths of 25 m below sea level. It's also been recorded at a depth of 60 m below sea level. It lives on the surface of reefs, but often swims in the water columns above the reefs to feed on plankton .
