Tōru Oikawa (及川 徹, Oikawa Tōru) is a third-year student at Aoba Johsai High. He is the volleyball team's captain and starting setter. He is introduced as one of Haikyu!!'s first main rivals. Despite his popularity, flirtatious nature, and childishness, Oikawa is a hard worker and takes volleyball extremely seriously.
