KKJO-FM (105.5 MHz) is a commercial radio station in St. Joseph, Missouri. It airs a Top 40 - CHR radio format known as K-Jo 105-5. It is owned by Eagle Communications, with studios and offices on Country Lane in St. Joseph. KKJO is a Class C1 station. It has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, the maximum for most FM stations.
KFEQ was founded by John L. Scroggin, head of the Scroggin & Co. Bank. It signed on the air on February 16, 1923. Its original city of license was Oak, Nebraska.Scroggin moved the station to St. Joseph in 1925 where it was noted for its live remote daily broadcasts three times each day from the St. Joseph Stockyards and four times each day from the St. Joseph Grain Exchange.

In 1999, the station transitioned to 1950s through 1960s Oldies music. [5] It was known as "Oldies 1550". On August 24, 2009, the station changed call letters to KESJ and began airing ESPN Radio.
