Jassim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani (Arabic: جاسم بن حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني; born 25 August 1978) is the former heir apparent of Qatar. He is the third son of the former Emir of Qatar , Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani , and the first child of the Emir with his second wife, Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Missned .

Al Wajbah Fort is one of the oldest forts in Qatar. [1] Located in the locality of Al Wajbah in Al Rayyan , it is situated 15 km west of Doha . [ 2 ] The fort was built in the late 18th or 19th century and was the location of an important battle when the army of Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani subdued the Ottoman army in 1893. [ 3 ]
