Stage's Pond State Nature Preserve is a 178 acres (0.72 km 2) nature preserve with ponds in Walnut Township, Pickaway County, Ohio. The State Nature Preserve is located at 4792 Hagerty Road, north of the county seat of Circleville. The preserve was dedicated on August 23, 1974.
South of Canal Winchester, Slate Run Metro Park's most notable feature is an 1880s-era working historical farm staffed by volunteers. Visitors can see 19th century farm life, interact with the farm animals, and learn about canning and meat preservation. Other parts of the park include extensive hiking trails and a restored wetland area.
Malabar Farm Inn is a historic stagecoach inn built in 1820. The two-story brick building was restored as a restaurant, offering home-cooked dining. The Malabar Inn Restaurant has operated sporadically in recent years, having closed in 2018, re-opened in 2021, and closed in July 2023.

Skaneateles Community was a utopian social experiment established in 1843 by the Society for Universal Inquiry and Reform in a 350-acre (1.4 km 2) farm near Mottville, in Skaneateles in Upstate New York based on Fourierist principles. [1] It was one of several communities established by the Society prior to the Civil War.

Blue Creek Metropark is a park and conservation area in Whitehouse and Waterville Township, Ohio, owned by Metroparks Toledo and partially leased to the city of Whitehouse. [4] The rustic area has a parking lot and a one-mile loop trail leading to a wetland and a quarry pond. Fishing is permitted in the pond.
