Vanda scandens is a species of plant in the family Orchidaceae. It is endemic to Mindanao island and Palawan Island in the Philippines. [1] [2] Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is an Endangered species on the IUCN Red List, threatened by habitat loss. [1]

[1] This species has a long history of cultivation in Europe since the early 20th century and is prized for its ornamental leaves which are the largest in its genus.
