How much of a market is there for 21 inch passenger cars? I'm sure there are a fair number of large layouts with an 096 minimum of curves, but are there enough of those layouts to support only 21 inch cars being made for a couple years?

Speaking of the Varney/GMC/All Nation 4-6-0, I have a scratch-built free-lance Challenger using two of the 4-6-0 mechanisms. The front engine is a complete but unpowered unit, the rear engine is just the driver set and is powered. The trailing truck is of unknown-to-me manufacturer.
