I run a wright zk with the mulching kit. It recommended standard side discharge blades. I also tried eliminator and gator blades. They both sucked.

    gator blades and mulching blades are two different things. yes, the mulching blades are great. i have em on my bobcat 36, and 48, as well as my 32 exmark. they mulch good and give a quality cut. as far as running over twice, if its high and wet, u will double cut reguardless of the blade type. Thiis has been true for me also.

    It starts and rides so smooth, great on gas, the hydros really crank, shockingly good on steep hills, and with the 36" you can sneak into some pretty tight areas and through doors. I just put the mulch kit on and i'm expecting even better results. I've had good luck with gator blades.

    JDiepstra. You cant use a mulch kit year round in Michigan unless you want to be double mowing everything and having a bit of a mess during the rapid growing seasons. Gator blades are not meant to be used with mulch kits either. Mulch kits with mulch blades are great for spring and fall cleanups.

    By using mulching blades on the GHS will pack the crap out of your catch. There is a catalog that sells those blades (Landscaper Supply Co.). They are about $4 cheaper per blade compared to my dealer. I would like to try those Raptors that the captain is talking about. Hopes this helps.
