Paramus (/ p ə ˈ r æ m ə s / pə-RAM-əs [20]) is a borough in the central portion of Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.A suburban bedroom community of New York City, Paramus is located 15 to 20 miles (24 to 32 km) northwest of Midtown Manhattan and approximately 8 miles (13 km) west of Upper Manhattan.

The Noyes Museum of Art is an art museum. It styles itself as the only fine arts museum in southern New Jersey. [1][2] The museum opened in 1983 in Galloway Township, New Jersey. Due to lack of funds for needed repairs, the main Galloway building in Oceanville was closed to the public in 2016. The Oceanville property was eventually sold in 2021.
