Thank you if you’ve made it this far! Looks like the license was renewed last second on Netflix. If it does end up leaving Netflix, other than amazon or buying physical copies of each season, there's not currently a legal streaming service with MLP. Hulu has season 9 but that's about it.
If netflix wants to improve the user experience they should add 'leaving soon' section with everything that's leaving and 'recently added' section with every single film/show that was added sorted by date when it was added (I'm aware of the 'new' section, but this section mostly just includes the films that were advertised, while some are added ...

It’s up to the owners of the content to decide to sell said content to Netflix. Friends is owned by Warner Brothers. The other two are NBC. They have decided to stop licensing to other services and keep it all for HBO Max and Peacock. If Netflix is no longer worth the price to you, cancel and find a service that is.
