    Well the reservation's official name is Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. We are Lakota Sioux. There are 3 different dialects to the Sioux Nation which is where the Lakota part comes in. There is also Dakota and Nakota. More time than not I call myself Indian or if people ask for specifics I say Lakota Sioux. It all depends on who you speak to though.
