The Karabiner 98 kurz (German: [kaʁaˈbiːnɐ ˌʔaxtʔʊntˈnɔʏntsɪç ˈkʊɐ̯ts]; ' carbine 98 short '), often abbreviated Karabiner 98k, Kar98k or K98k and also sometimes incorrectly referred to as a K98 (a K98 is a Polish carbine and copy of the Kar98a), is a bolt-action rifle chambered for the 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge.

Can't say I know much about either Type 88 or CKS, but I know they're not the same rifle. CKS is a almost direct replica of Kar98k (that actually went into production in China earlier than Kar98k did in Germany) while Hanyang 88 is a replica of Gewehr 88, which is an antique pre-WWI rifle and the ancestor of Kar98k.
