Interstate 95 (I-95), the main Interstate Highway on the East Coast of the United States, serves the Atlantic Coast of the US state of Georgia.It crosses into the state from Florida at the St. Marys River near Kingsland and travels to the north past the cities of Brunswick and Savannah to the South Carolina state line at the Savannah River near Port Wentworth.
Kingsland is in southernmost Camden County at (30.794612, -81.671720), [5] just north of the Florida It is bordered by St. Marys to the east. Interstate 95 runs through the eastern part of the city, with access from three exits.
I-95 follows a 77.96-mile-long (125.46 km) course in New Jersey, starting in the south at the Pearl Harbor Memorial Turnpike Extension of the New Jersey Turnpike, crossing the Delaware River on the Delaware River–Turnpike Toll Bridge, joining the mainline turnpike at exit 6. I-95 has interchanges with I-78 in Newark and I-80 in southern Teaneck.

East of Kingsland, the highway followed most of its present alignment but crossed the parallel railroad several times. [11] By 1926, the Kingsland–St. Marys highway was a sand or dirt road. [12] When the Folkston–Kingsland stretch of SR 40 reappeared on maps in February 1932, the highway was recorded as an unimproved but maintained road. [13]
The concurrency curves north and within a suburban area has a four-way intersection with US 82/SR 520 (South Georgia Parkway) and the southern terminus of SR 303 (Blythe Island Highway). US 17/SR 25 turns east onto four-lane divided South Georgia Parkway, here also known as Jekyll Island Road, to travel concurrently with US 82/SR 520.
