Winslow Township is a township in Camden County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 39,907, [9] [10] an increase of 408 (+1.0%) from the 2010 census count of 39,499, [18] [19] which in turn reflected an increase of 4,888 (+14.1%) from the 34,611 counted in the 2000 census.
A stagecoach stop for many years, the community now known as Winslow first received a post office on December 11, 1876, known as Summit Home. The town grew significantly upon completion of the Winslow Tunnel, which allowed the St. Louis – San Francisco Railway (Frisco) to run through the steep Boston Mountains of south Washington County. The Lorenzo Hubbell Trading Post and Warehouse is located in the western part of the historic center of the city of Winslow, in Navajo County, Arizona. The building was built in 1917. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, in the Winslow Historic District. [2] It currently serves as the Winslow visitor center.
