Dodge Street is the major street diverging from I-480 in Downtown Omaha.. Dodge Street was named for influential Iowa Senator Augustus C. Dodge.Dodge was a strong supporter of westward expansion beyond the Missouri River to the Pacific Ocean who originally introduced the bill which led to the Kansas-Nebraska Act.

The Omaha Scoular Building is a five-story commercial use building located in the Park East neighborhood of Downtown Omaha, Nebraska.It was designed by LEO A DALY in 1924 for the Knights of Columbus and was completed in 1927.
Do Space opened in the fall of 2015. Do Space is managed by the non-profit Community Information Trust, which itself is managed by local Omaha philanthropic organization, Heritage Services. [3] [4] It is located at the southwest corner of 72nd and Dodge Streets in what was a former Borders Books.
