Charles Sturt University is an Australian multi-campus public university located in New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Victoria.Established in 1989, it was named in honour of Captain Charles Napier Sturt, [14] a British explorer who made expeditions into regional New South Wales and South Australia.
The first Charles Sturt University Study Centre opened in Sydney in 2001, the second in Melbourne in 2007 and the third in Brisbane in 2016. Also known as the "CSU Study Centres", they operated in conjunction with Study Group Australia. [1] (CSU) is a public university and a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.

Hungappa is a student newspaper published at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, Australia. The magazine, established in 1989, was produced by Rivcoll Union Inc, and is now managed by the Rivcoll Student Representative Committee. The current editors appointed by the SRC's elected committee are Ash Castles and Victoria Lee.
