Cross Gene (Korean: 크로스진; stylized as CROSS GENE) is a boy band based in South Korea which debuted on June 11, 2012. Signed under Amuse Korea, the group debuted as a sextet but currently consists of only three members: Shin, Sangmin, and Yongseok.
Shin Won-ho (born 23 October 1991) is a South Korean singer, actor and member of multinational idol group Cross Gene.He was notable for his supporting roles in television series Bachelor's Vegetable Store (2011), Big (2012) and The Legend of the Blue Sea (2016).
Takuya debuted as an idol with the boy group, Cross Gene, on June 7, 2012, as the leader and vocalist of the group.He is known as the "Gorgeous Gene". Takuya later participated in and promoted movie roles including Live Action movie Ai Ore! in which he played the supporting role Kiryuuin Ruii alongside Karam from K-pop group DGNA.

Gene's last live performance was on 16 December 2004 at the London Astoria. The band members have all continued to work in music. Roy Wilkinson went on to manage the band then known as British Sea Power, while Snake Newton went on to mix an assortment of acts including Duran Duran, Sugababes, Pet Shop Boys and Snow Patrol.
