Barcelona Gipsy balKan Orchestra (BGKO) is a band created in 2012 in Barcelona, Spain. The band draws on many musical influences, including Klezmer music, Jazz Manouche, and Romani music. BGKO also explores the sounds of some Eastern European regions and draws inspiration from music in the regions of South America, Spain, and the Middle East. [3]

Klezmer (Yiddish: כלזמיר, from Hebrew: k'li zemer כלי זמר, lit. "vessels of song", meaning "musical instruments" in Hebrew; in Yiddish, "klezmer" refers to a professional Jewish instrumentalist) is a genre and type of music originating in Eastern Europe. [1]
Klezmer is a musical tradition of the Ashkenazic Jews of Eastern Europe. Played by professional musicians called klezmorim, the genre consists largely of dance tunes and instrumental display pieces for weddings and other celebrations.
