State Highway 470 (SH 470, known locally as C-470) is a freeway located in the southwestern portion of the Denver Metro Area. It is also the southwestern portion of the Denver Metro area's beltway. SH 470 begins at US 6 in Golden and heads south interchanging Interstate 70 and then US 285 outside Morrison.

State Highway 128 (SH 128) is a 10 mi (16.1 km) long state highway in the Denver, Colorado metro area. SH 128's western terminus is at SH 93 south of Boulder, and the eastern terminus is at Interstate 25 (I-25) in Westminster.

E-470 is the eastern portion of what was originally planned as Interstate 470 (I-470), a full outer beltway for the Denver metropolitan area proposed by CDOT in the 1960s. After the completion of SH 470 , plans for the eastern extension gained momentum in the 1980s, as Denver moved forward with plans for a new international airport in its corridor.
