Urdu Daira Maarif Islamiya or Urdu Encyclopaedia of Islam (Urdu: اردو دائرہ معارف اسلامیہ) is the largest Islamic encyclopedia published in Urdu by University of the Punjab. Originally it is a translated, expanded and revised version of Encyclopedia of Islam. Its composition began in the 1950s at University of the Punjab.
Bahar-e-Shariat (Urdu: بہارِ شریعت; 1939) is an encyclopedia of Islamic fiqh (jurisprudence), according to the Hanafi school. Spreading over 20 volumes, Seventeen of its volumes were written by Amjad Ali Aazmi , a disciple of Ahmed Raza Khan .
The scope of EI3 includes comprehensive coverage of Islam in the twentieth century; expansion of geographical focus to include all areas where Islam has been or is a prominent or dominant aspect of society; attention to Muslim minorities all over the world; and full attention to social science as well as humanistic perspectives.

Quran Aur Ilm-e-Jadeed (Urdu: قرآن اور علم جدید) is a 1959 Urdu book by Muhammad Rafiuddin. The book was first published by the Institute of Islamic Culture, Lahore. The book has been translated into English under the title Quran and Modern Knowledge and has been included in the master's degree course at the University of Punjab. [1]
Islamopedia Online was founded in 2007 with a grant from the Carnegie Foundation.
