The Beta chapter was formed at Baylor University in 2001, making Beta Chi Theta a national fraternity. [1] After adding more chapters, the organization held its first national convention in 2003, where the fraternity's constitution and bylaws were adopted and a national board was established. [ 2 ]

In 1902, Alpha Phi invited Pi Beta Phi, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Gamma, Gamma Phi Beta, Delta Delta Delta, Alpha Chi Omega, and Chi Omega to a conference in Chicago on May 24 to set standards for collegiate sororities.
