Datin Paduka Marina binti Tun Dr. Mahathir (born 11 May 1957) [1] (Jawi: مرينة بنت محاضر) is a Malaysian socio-political activist and writer. She is the eldest child of the 4th and 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and Tun Dr. Hasmah Mohamad Ali. [2] She graduated from the University of Sussex.

Previously, male recipients use the title Dato' and his spouse Datin, while Datin Paduka is the title given to female recipients. [ 2 ] Seri Paduka Mahkota Selangor (SPMS) can only be awarded to two people at one time and the maximum number of recipients is 40 people.
Female recipients are given the honorary title Datin Paduka (equivalent to 'Dame') but there is no accompanying title for their male spouse. It may exist in itself as a single-word title, or as the prefix in a string of title such as "Dato Paduka" and "Datuk Seri Panglima". A female recipient on her own right generally receives the title whereby the word "Datuk" (or its variant spelling) is replaced with "Datin" instead.
