The Fairfield Stags field hockey team, as of the 2019 season, have competed in the Northeast Conference (NEC) of NCAA Division I. The NEC effectively took over operation of the MAAC field hockey league after the 2018 season. The Stags play their home games at University Field on the campus of Fairfield University.
