In 2010, Kang began his acting career in an omnibus film Acoustic alongside his fellow CNBLUE member Lee Jong-hyun. On January 5, 2010, CNBLUE's debut was announced to be on January 14. [11] In addition to video teasers, each member was accompanied by a word that made up the acronym BLUE, which was meant to portray their individual images.
