Shadehill Reservoir is a reservoir on the Grand River in Perkins County, South Dakota, USA. The lake was created by the construction of Shadehill Dam by the United States Bureau of Reclamation in 1951. Big Six Mile Creek Marina is located in a protected valley along a tributary to the Niagara River, and features the only public boat launch facilities on the western side of Grand Island. The first Caledonia Dam was constructed between 1836 and 1842 by the Grand River Navigation Company. The contractor, Ranald McKinnon, is known as Caledonia's founder because of his role in the building of this dam. Known as Dam #4, Caledonia also housed Lock #4 also built by the Navigation Company.

It rises in Shiawassee Township, Shiawassee County south of the city of Owosso. It flows west through Clinton, Gratiot and Ionia counties, flowing into the Grand River at Muir.
