Todd Townshend (born August 19, 1967 [1]) is the 14th Bishop of The Diocese of Huron in the Anglican Church of Canada. [2] He was Ordained to the diaconate May 14, 1992, ordained to the priesthood on November 30, 1992, and Consecrated a Bishop and Installed as the 14th Bishop of Huron at St. Paul's Cathedral, London, ON on Saturday January 25, 2020.
Until the installment of the new bishop, the diocese was administered by The Most Reverend Colin Johnson, retired metropolitan of Ontario and archbishop of Toronto and Moosonee. On October 26, 2019, Todd Townshend was elected the next bishop of Huron. [6] He assumed his role as the 14th bishop of Huron when consecrated 25 January 2020.

Theodore David Butler Ragg (23 November 1919 – 1 July 2002) was the Bishop of Huron in the last third of the 20th century. [1]Born into an ecclesiastical family [2] and educated the University of Manitoba, he was ordained in 1950. [3]
He was the first principal of the college until 1866, when he was appointed Dean of Huron. In 1871 he was elevated to coadjutor Bishop of Huron, becoming bishop on Cronyn's death later that year. [1] Hellmuth founded the Western University of London, Ontario in 1878, which was later renamed University of Western Ontario.
Robert Franklin Bennett was the Anglican Bishop of Huron between 2008 and 2016. [1] Born in 1949 and educated at the University of Western Ontario, Bennett was ordained in 1974. [2] He held curacies at Chesley and Windsor and incumbencies at Simcoe, Port Ryerse, Kitchener and Brantford, all in Ontario.
