Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum is located at 7301 West Nash Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.It is a Roman Catholic cemetery operated by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.The cemetery was established in 1909, the cemetery comprises 196-acre (79 ha), with about 135,000 burials in graves and about 15,000 in crypts and niches. The cemetery operates under the supervision of the Archdiocese of Newark. The cemetery is 208 acres (0.84 km 2) in size and located in North Arlington, at the south end of Bergen County. By August 2013, the cemetery had provided burial or entombment facilities for 289,600 individuals.

In 1953, the abandoned St. Dennis Cemetery of Menlo Park had their remains moved to Holy Cross, however only 24 of the 174 bodies were moved because the rest could not be found. [2] [4] In the 1950s and 1960s the cemetery was reconstructed under the leadership of John Kiefer and Edwin Kennedy. [2]
