[ 1 ] By August 1960, McQueen had departed from both Today and GTV-9 owing to having disagreements about the show as well as "other matters, not connected with money". [ 3 ]
Chadwick Steven McQueen (December 28, 1960 – September 11, 2024) was an American actor, film producer, martial artist, and race car driver. He was the only son and last living child of actor Steve McQueen (1930–1980).
McQueen was broadcast on Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m. (Eastern) from 23 September 1969 until 18 September 1970. The show was not well-received; by January, the newly installed head of CBC Entertainment was quoted in the Toronto Star as saying: "Everybody knows it's a failure now, but unfortunately we're stuck with it for the rest of the season."
