The city of Lisbon and the Lisbon metropolitan area attracts a significant number of tourists each year, drawn to its historical and cultural heritage, good transportation connections and good touristic infrastructure.
The park occupies an area of 26 hectares (64 acres) to the north of Avenida da Liberdade and Marquis of Pombal Square in Lisbon's city center. The park is named for King Edward VII of the United Kingdom, who visited Portugal in 1903 to strengthen relations between the two countries and reaffirm the Anglo-Portuguese Alliance .
It functions as a film archive and promotes daily screenings of worldwide films at its headquarters, now located on Rua Barata Salgueiro in Lisbon. It was established in 1948. [1] The Cinemateca Portuguesa provides film festivals, film screenings, presentations, a museum exhibition, a bookshop, and a restaurant. [2]

The Belém Cultural Center (Portuguese: Centro Cultural de Belém) is a complex of artistic venues located in Belém in the city of Lisbon, Portugal.It is the largest building with cultural facilities in Portugal, with over 140,000 m 2 (1,500,000 sq ft) of usable space.
Lisbon has two sites listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site: Belém Tower and Jerónimos Monastery. Furthermore, in 1994, Lisbon was the European Capital of Culture and, in 1998, organised the Expo '98 (1998 Lisbon World Exposition).
In addition to sites inscribed on the World Heritage list, member states can maintain a list of tentative sites that they may consider for nomination. Nominations for the World Heritage list are only accepted if the site was previously listed on the tentative list. [22] Portugal has 18 sites on its tentative list. [3]
The visit ends in the Gallery where temporary exhibitions from paintings, sculpture and photography are done. [ 2 ] Apart from the exhibited objects, the museum has set aside various pieces of historical interest from vehicles (buses and trams), numerous workshop parts, old tickets and objects of everyday life of the company.
