Farm to Market Road 401 (FM 401) is located in Childress County. Its southern terminus is at US 287 (Avenue F) and 7th Street in downtown Childress. It runs north along 7th Street for 1.2 miles (1.9 km) to a T-intersection with FM 3181 north of the city. [3] FM 401 was designated on November 26, 1969, along the current route. [2]
