An outline is the exterior border around each character of your text or WordArt. When you change the outline of text, you can also adjust the color, weight, and style of the line. An effect adds depth or emphasis to the text in WordArt or text on a slide.
To change the font size or style of your WordArt text: Select the WordArt text or letters to change. On the Home tab, select options in the Font group, such as font style, font size, or underline.
You can use WordArt with a Transform text effect to curve or bend text around a shape. If you want the text to circle the shape, you can also do this, but it’s a little bit more work. You can also insert WordArt multiple times to wrap text around shapes with straight edges.
On the Drawing Tools Format tab, click Shape Outline, and then click More Outline Colors. In the Colors box, either click the color that you want on the Standard tab, or mix your own color on the Custom tab.
