Dodge is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Delaware County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 115 at the 2010 census , [ 4 ] up from the figure of 96 recorded in 2000 .
The First National Bank opened in 1892, and the local Masonic Lodge was founded in 1894. Newspapers founded before the turn of the 20th Century included Vinita Indian Chieftain (1882), Vinita Leader (1885) and the Daily Indian Chieftain (1899). The Vinita Daily Journal began publication in 1907 and has continued into the 21st Century. [8]
The Chrysler company was founded by Walter Chrysler on June 6, 1925, [12] [13] when the Maxwell Motor Company (est. 1904) was re-organized into the Chrysler Corporation.
