Khánh Ly (born as Nguyễn Thị Lệ Mai; 6 March 1945 in Hanoi) is a Vietnamese-American singer. She performed many songs written by Vietnamese composer Trịnh Công Sơn and rose to fame in the 1960s.
Trần Thị Thanh Nhàn, was born on July 19, 1982, in the port city of Vũng Tàu, in the Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu province where she grew up in a small village. Her father, Mr. Trần Ngọc Lý was a North Vietnamese soldier who fought and was posted in Rừng Sác (now part of Cần Giờ District, Ho Chi Minh City) during the Vietnam War.

Lê Công Định (born 1 October 1968) is a Vietnamese lawyer who sat on the defence of many high-profile human rights cases in Vietnam.He was critical of bauxite mining in the central highlands of Vietnam, [1] and was arrested by the Vietnamese government on 13 June 2009 on charges of "national security", though the arrest was met with strong objections from the international community.
