Azteca Deportes (currently known as TV Azteca Deportes) is the sports division of Mexico's TV Azteca television network. It produces sports events and regular sports programming aired on the Azteca Uno and Azteca 7 networks in Mexico and now on Estrella TV in the United States.

In 2010, XHIMT-TDT began transmitting a direct Azteca 7 HD feed. 4:3 programs were stretched to fill the 16:9 space. On December 17, 2015, at 12:00 a.m., XHIMT analog channel 7 ceased broadcasts, as part of the federally mandated transition from analog to digital television.
Currently, XHCJE-TDT broadcasts the entire schedule of Azteca Uno, with local advertisements and local news broadcasts. News opt-outs Hechos Meridiano Juárez, a news program that debuted in 2001 to compete against the Noticiero 56 newscast on competing station XHJUB (now Las Noticias on XEPM).
As a replacement to its predecessor, Fuera de la Ley, Duro y Directo was launched in November 1997, on XEQ-TV. Its format was a true crime news magazine, focusing on the criminal crisis in Mexico. In such rare instances, viewers were given the opportunity to call the program for emergency help, before calling emergency services.
Azteca Uno is available on 91 of its own transmitters as well as on a subchannel of 13 Azteca 7 transmitters. [8] [9] The latter only carry Azteca Uno in standard definition. As part of the national virtual channel realignment of October 2016, Azteca Trece, including in Mexico City, moved from channel 13 to channel 1.

Liberty later exited leaving HMTF and News Corp as co-owners of the cable network. News Corp purchased the ownership rights from HMTF of FOX Sports en Espanol and rebranded as FOX Deportes in 2010. News Corp purchased the remaining ownership rights for the holding company from HMTF and fully owned the FOX Sports Latin America cable network in 2011.
