Valley View Apartments (also known as Tornado Towers) was a block of buildings in Mankato, Minnesota, United States, constructed by placing mobile homes in a concrete frame, stacked four high. [ 1 ] The building was erected in the 1970s, and demolished in 1995.
The Valley View house is about 1 mile (1.6 km) northwest of downtown Romney, atop a promontory (known locally as the Yellow Banks) where Depot Valley joins the South Branch Potomac River valley. Depot Valley runs 0.5 miles (0.8 km) from West Sioux Lane in Romney to Valley View, and an unnamed tributary of Big Run flows north along its bottom.
It was the first co-operative apartment complex in Philadelphia, although it now operates only as rentals. The buildings are surrounded by lawns and gardens, a rarity in the fairly urban setting.

The mall was formerly home to anchor stores that were once JCPenney, Macy's, Sears, and Dillard's. The demolition of the mall was completed in May 2023.
