Default size for most browsers is font 16 and thats what new and old desin is optimized to, also in the old MonoBook there was a hack that increased font size for those with a smaller default setting. Suddenly yesterday font on site went to size 32, which causes severe overlapping, even at full screen. All other websites, including other Wikimedia sites have not changed.
