Edmund Dudley (c. 1462 [1] or 1471/1472 [2] – 17 August 1510) was an English administrator and a financial agent of King Henry VII.He served as a leading member of the Council Learned in the Law, Speaker of the House of Commons and President of the King's Council.

Edward Sutton was the eldest son of Sir Edmund Sutton and Joyce de Tiptoft, [3] daughter of Sir John Tiptoft, 1st Baron Tiptoft.In right of his wife Joyce, Edmund Dudley benefited from her inheritance of the Tibetot barony and Cherleton barony, and thus co-heir to the Powis inheritance, but was never created baron of these holdings.
